Megaupload

I got a few emails from people who had trouble downloading songs via Megaupload. Oddly, Megaupload doesn't have a how-to-instruction. Check the comments to this post to find out how to use Megaupload.

    How to use Megaupload: click on the songtitle (underlined, in pink), or where it says Megaupload (underlined, in pink). Now you see the Megaupload-page with loads of adverts, and maybe some popups. Kill the popups. If you cannot read the language used on the page, change the language using one of the flags halfway down the page.
    You then get the same page, only in French, German, Portuguese, Finnish, whatever.
    Next to the Megaupload logo (with the bright orange arrow) on the righthand side, you see a fill-in space. You are asked to fill in three letters (marked in red). Fill in those letters. Then you have to wait for 45 seconds. Kill all popups in the meantime. Next, you see the instruction: press to download. Do so. See what happens next. Follow instructions.

    My problem is that there always this boring message to me: All download slots (3000) assigned to your country (Brazil) are in use.
    Please try again later.

    They hate me! :(

    yeah i get that too, but im from malaysia, and they usually just assign 100 slots. they hate us!

    The problem I've had with MegaUpload is after typing in the 3 letters, the download page comes up, but the download link is not active- clicking it does nothing. (not a matter of download slots, I live in the US) RapidShare is also broken for me.
    I suggest SendSpace, SaveFile, BoxNet or 4Shared.

    The links stay active much longer than YSI.

    Personally, I love the Rapidshare... probably because they give me a free extension every month and I can download non-stop sans probème.
